Dear fellow artists and art lovers, In June of 2008, thousands of performing artists and related organizations and administrators from across the country came together to participate in an amazing national conference- that was the fruit of four years of planning! At this conference, we worked together to come up with ideas and vote on a unified, national approach to improving and sustaining the arts in our country. I will post the goals that we came up with below (soon), so that people who didn't attend the conference, that may be visiting this page can learn about and join us in our focused attempts- at the national, organizational, and individual levels, to improve the arts. I especially want to thank the many organizations who came together to plan this event; your unity, caring, hard work, vision, and strength, are so admirable and worthy of praise! To new friends from the NPAC, It was such a pleasure meeting you all! Keep up your great and fascinating work and please keep in touch!
