enchanting bird calls evoked in this chamber arrangement- derived from Beach's original solo piano piece.
(Arrangement composed on an airplane and in hotel room while on my way to the festival).

Dedicated to Justin Campeau, viola player from The Hartt School. In Memorium

Immediately composed to honor his spirit. First presented, on piano, in a special concert
offered by his peers and teachers, as our emotional and musical response to his sudden departure.
May he rest in peace.
